SD Rookie:Lesson #1 Local Lingo Alerts: An ongoing saga

Five years ago, when I landed from the Midwest in PB *SD Rookie Local Lingo Alert: PB=Pacific Beach*(although my first thought - yes, even to this day - on hearing "PB" is of my beloved, back-home PB and J sandwiches on good ole mushy, gooshy, squishy, pure white, Wonder Bread with visions of multi-colored balloons on the white crinkly package dancing in my head as it stuck to the roof on my mouth, rendering me unable to speak for a few moments, which by the way, never stopped me from talking anyway because it was way funnier to try to talk to my brothers and sisters with Wonder Bread in the perfect shape of the roof of my mouth architecturally stuck together with Jif.)
